As we enter September, we recognize Suicide Prevention Month—a time dedicated to raising awareness and fostering critical conversations about mental health and suicide prevention. At the California Department of Education (CDE), we deeply appreciate the tireless efforts of our schools and educators in creating safe, supportive, and nurturing environments for all students. Your commitment to the well-being of our students is at the heart of everything we do, and we want to thank you for being on the front lines of this important work.

 

To support your ongoing efforts, the CDE will be hosting a webinar on September 19th to share strategies and resources for suicide prevention. We encourage you to register here and participate in this important discussion.
